While Moravec, Varga & Mooney does not practice in the fields of divorce and child custody, we have, as part of our estate planning practice, been advising clients and drafting both Prenuptial (signed before marriage) and Postnuptial Agreements (signed after marriage) for over 20 years.  Whether executed before or after marriage, these agreements serve to establish the property and support rights of a couple who wish to modify the default provisions of California State community property law, which would otherwise apply.
